HOW TO REGISTER FOR LEDLENSER EXTENDED WARRANTY

Ledlenser Professional Lighting Solutions

Ledlenser products have an industry leading warranty that covers defects in manufacturing, extended up to 7 years with registration of certain products. Most of our lights have a standard warranty period of 2 years which can be extended by a further 5 years with online registration.

Act fast, if your light is eligible for warranty, you only have 12 weeks from the date of purchase to activate this!

This manufacturer’s warranty excludes certain product ranges from LedLenser. This includes their K Series (keyring lights), Lite Wallet, Solidline, TFX and accessories including spare parts and LedLenser batteries. This list is not exclusive and you should check specific product pages for more information*.

(By law, all LedLenser products purchased in Ireland are covered by a minimum of 1-year parts and labour guarantee from date of purchase, and this will cover any excluded items)

The manufacturer’s warranty only covers issues that arise when the product is used normally and hasn’t been tampered with. It doesn’t cover damage caused by leaking batteries.

  • Normal Use: The Ledlenser warranty covers issues that arise when the product is used as intended by LedLenser This means using the product under normal conditions and for its intended purpose. For example, if you bought a blender, the warranty would cover it if it stopped working during regular kitchen use. But if you tried to use it to mix concrete and it broke, that would not be considered normal use.
  • Tampering: The Ledlenser warranty does not cover issues that arise if the product has been tampered with. Tampering could include things like trying to repair the product yourself, modifying it, or using it in a way that it wasn’t designed for. If the product has been tampered with, LedLenser may not be able to determine if the issue was due to a defect in the product or because of the tampering.
  • Leaking Batteries: The Ledlenser warranty does not cover damage caused by leaking batteries. Batteries, especially rechargeable ones, contain corrosive materials that can damage electronic devices if they leak. This type of damage is usually preventable by using high-quality batteries and replacing them before they’re completely drained.
  • Battery Manufacturer: If a product is damaged by a leaking battery, the user is advised to contact LedLenser. This is because the battery manufacturer may have their own warranty or compensation policy for damage caused by their batteries.

How To Register Your LedLenser Warranty

Before you start:

Remember to have your proof of purchase at hand; this could be an invoice or a receipt.

It’s used to verify that you are the original purchaser of the product and that the product was bought from an authorized LedLenser seller such as Tool Force.

This is important because warranties often only apply to the original purchaser and may not be valid if the product was bought from an unauthorized seller
