If you have chosen an Einhell Tool, you have made a good decision. These trusty power tools are reliable, and their powerful batteries have a fantastic performance on a massive range of tools.
Now it’s time for your second good decision – activating the generous Einhell manufacturer’s warranty.
Einhell have made this an easy process and this blog aims to take you through it step-by-step.
Keep your proof of purchase nearby as you may need to use it to register your tool; this could be an invoice or a receipt.
Step 1 – What Warranty am I entitled to?
It is good to know how long your warranty lasts – this depends on what you are registering. Find the relevant warranty on this page: https://www.einhell.co.uk/warranties/
Einhell tools are eligible for an extended Manufacturer’s warranty, however, tool registration is required within 30 days of purchase.
Damage from improper use, including accidental damage from stones, sand or dust, the use of force or other external influences and if used in a commercial setting are not covered under the terms of the warranty.
You can extend the warranty of your Einhell power tools to 3 years if they are part of the following ranges: Einhell Red, Einhell Classic, Einhell Car Classic, Einhell Car Expert, Einhell Home, Einhell Expert, Einhell Expert Plus, Einhell Professional.
If your Einhell battery is part of the Power X-Change range you can extend your battery’s warranty to 3 years total.
If your Einhell tool has a PurePower Brushless motor, einhell will cover the motor for 10 years (1+9) when you register it.
Step 2 – Create an Einhell account
Before you can register your Einhell tool, Irish Einhell customers must register for an account on the Einhell website: https://auth.einhell.com/auth/realms/master/protocol/openid-connect/registrations
If you already have an account, log in now.
Step 3 – Register your new Einhell Tool(s)
At this stage you can enter the purchase date and serial number of your tool. Make sure this is done within 30 days of purchase to be eligible for the extended warranty on your tool.
Einhell products sent in without a type-plate or proof of purchase cannot be considered, nor can 2nd choice products from Einhell factory sales. Resold Einhell products via third-party suppliers or private individuals are excluded from the warranty claim.
You can find the purchase date on the invoice or proof of purchase from the Einhell seller.
Find the serial number on a sticker next to the type-plate on your tool. This sticker will have a bar code and a 7-digit code – this is your serial number.
You’ll also need to enter the Dealer information – for this you’ll need to specify the Authorised Einhell Seller where you bought the Einhell tool, and the invoice number – you can find this on the top right of your Tool Force invoice.
After this you enter your contact information, and once that has been done, Einhell will give you a summary of what you have registered. Double-check this to make sure all your details are correct.
When you think you’re good to go, confirm your choices.
How do I make a claim on my Einhell Tool warranty?
Make sure you’re logged into your Einhell account and go to the user dashboard. You can find this on the top right of your screen on desktop or under the 3 horizontal lines on mobile.
